Ingredients for making German pie step by step:

 1 packet of cornstarch biscuit (200 g)

 200 grams of softened butter

1 cup of sugar (160 grams)

 5 egg yolks

 1 tablespoon of vanilla essence

300 grams of fresh cream or cream

 100 grams of plain cream

 100 grams of semisweet chocolate

½ cup of milk to wet the cookies

How to make German pie step by step:

First prepare the base and sides of the pie, which can be cornstarch or marie biscuit. To do this, place some cookies around the sides of a removable bottom shape and on the bottom too, as shown in the photo. Reserve.

Tip: You don't need to soak these cookies in milk. To remove the mold more easily, you can line the inside of the mold with plastic film.

In an electric mixer, beat the butter, sugar, egg yolks and vanilla essence for 2-3 minutes, until light and creamy as in the photo.

Tip: It is important to beat the cream until the sugar grains dissolve.

On the other hand, beat the cream or cream only until it is consistent, as in the photo - don't beat for a long time so it doesn't turn into butter. Add to cream sugar, butter and egg yolks and mix gently.

Tip: To beat more easily and obtain the desired consistency, reserve the fresh cream or cream for 2 hours in the refrigerator before whipping.

Spread a layer of the previous cream on the previously prepared form, pressing it with a spoon or a spatula to make it very smooth. Dip some cookies in milk and place on top of cream. Cover these cookies with the remaining cream.

Tip: If the German pie cream curdles after mixing all the ingredients, keep beating until smooth again.

To finish this easy German pie, heat the plain cream in the microwave or on the fire. Add the chopped chocolate and mix until smooth.

Tip: You don't need to heat the cream or cream until it boils, just heat it enough to melt the chocolate in it.

Spread the cream and chocolate mixture over the cream of the German pie and you're done! Set aside in refrigerator for 1-2 hours to set.

Unmold and serve your delicious traditional German pie afterwards. Enjoy this excellent combination of flavors and textures and let us know what you think in the comments. Enjoy your food!
